- Jeremy Thompson Review added: 2018.10.23★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆For me, the worst part of being ill is having to deal with Harcourt Medical Centre. The physical ailments are nothing compared to the appauling level of service you will receive. I accepted a long time ago that the Receptionists are rude, unprofessional, dismissive, uncaring and downright ignorant. I have learnt to live with it. I have never come across people so unwilling to help in an environment that is supposed to provide the opposite.
Whilst you wait your manditory 30 minutes to see the doctor the experience picks up briefly as the doctors are actually very good. Then comes the final insult to your already ill-ridden unpleasant experience - The Pharmacy. It prides itself on patronising, keeping you waiting whilst the numerous pharmacy staff giggle, snigger, gossip and chat about their private lives. Eventually you receive your medication (be sure to check it!) and your experience is over (hopefully you have not received a parking ticket on top of the £1.40 you have already paid). Thankfully now home, armed with a Repeat Prescription and an online Repeat Prescription Service that does not work, you may be fortunate enough not to have to endure this gut-wrenching experience whilst you recover from you illness.
